Fairall([dagger]), Professor Erwin de Blok (SARChI Chair; since June 2007), Senior Lecturer Dr Patrick A. Woudt (promoted to Associate Professor in August) and Senior Lecturer Dr Thebe Medupe (on a joint SAAO/UCT position). Distinguished Emeritus Professor Brian Warner and Honorary Professor/Honorary Research Associate Michael W. Feast both are highly active members of the department.
